  • Press ? for help you can search. Show me points to the button you need.
  • Smaller, tidier menus and settings.
  • See what a backup holds before you restore it. Restoring leaves your open tabs as they are.
  • When one day has two different backups, both are kept, each with its time.
  • A tab’s history sits under its tab on a line, easier to read.
  • Two pages of one site are no longer marked as duplicates just because they share a title.

  • Back Pocket’s page keeps up faster when you open, close or move tabs.
  • Sync stays with the Google account you turned it on with. If Chrome switches to another account, sync pauses and asks you first.
  • Move to a new window keeps a group together, with its name.
  • Putting many tabs to sleep shows its progress.

Back Pocket’s icon
  • A new icon: three saved groups, stacked like cards.
  • Open is now Restore, for a saved group or a single saved tab.
  • Back Pocket comes in 52 languages. It uses your browser’s, or the one you choose in Settings.
  • Signing in with Google works in Edge, Brave and other browsers built on Chrome.
  • Simpler settings, each on one line.
